NERO design gallery
Michele Seppia, product and interior designer, founds NERO in Arezzo in 2005, a XXth century design gallery: since its birth a personal research is focused on XXth century Italian design. Gio Ponti, Osvaldo Borsani, Gino Sarfatti, Marco Zanuso, Gianfranco Frattini, Franco Albini, Angelo Mangiarotti are some of the design masters presented. Since 2013 Nero curates with enthusiasm the promotion of young designers and the self-production in the field of contemporary design, fostering those projects in which research and innovation is a priority. In the 2017 edition of Miart, the international fair of contemporary art in Milan, with the project Retrostorico by Duccio Maria Gambi, the gallery wins the Cedit prize for the Object Section, and consequently the Triennale di Milano adquires the piece.
